Kudu Premium Screen Cover

Owner’s Guide

Fitting

Step 1. Position

Unfold the cover and place it over the windscreen from outside the vehicle. Release the velcro tabs beneath the mirrors.

On some vehicles, the wipers can be lifted to rest over the cover. On top or below, it’s a personal choice.

Step 2. Secure

Open one cab door a little and place the corner envelope/flap over the door. Correctly align with the door, and then close to hold things in place.

Repeat on the opposite side, opening the door only slightly to maintain tension and alignment. If the door is open too wide, it will be impossible to fit.

Step 3. Refine

Smooth the cover into position and check its alignment. To adjust, open one side at a time and reposition.

Once fitted, secure the velcro tabs under each wing mirror.

The cover is designed to be a snug fit. This tension keeps it stable in poor weather.

Reversible by Design

Your cover arrives with the black side facing outward. To reverse it, simply flip the door envelopes to the opposite side, like you’re turning it inside out.

There is no need to separate sections or undo any velcro.

Wind Lock System

Each Kudu cover includes hidden velcro locking tabs, positioned between layers. This prevents separation in strong winds while maintaining full reversibility.

Tabs can only be assembled one way. It takes a moment to correctly fit, but once in place, they ensure the cover performs when conditions turn.

Light, When You Want It

Your Kudu Screen Cover can be partially opened while fitted, allowing natural light into the vehicle without removing the cover completely.

Release the Wind Lock tabs at the top of the screen, then separate the Velcro fastening to the desired height.

  • When fitted with the black side outward, the cover can be folded down externally and secured in place.

  • When fitted with the silver side outward, the door panels sit over the windscreen section, so the folded portion should be tucked neatly on in the inside.

For best fit and stability, we recommend opening no more than one third of the screen.

Packing Away

Lay the cover flat and fold one side inward along the main Velcro line. Fold the upper overhanging section down so that door panel sits neatly within the windscreen panel area (picture 1)

Repeat on the opposite side. The cover will now match the size of the main windscreen section (picture 2)

Next, fold one side inward, then the other (picture 3), before bringing both halves together. The cover is now sized to fit neatly into the storage bag (picture 4)

Pop it in the bag, and pull over the flap (picture 5). For maximum space saving, fold the bag in half and secure using the supplied strap (Picture 6)

For easier packing, keep the bag opening flap facing outward when folding. This allows trapped air to escape.

Care & Longevity

Your Kudu Screen Cover is made for regular use in demanding conditions. With basic care, it will continue to perform season after season.

  • Brush away loose dirt before storage.

For routine cleaning, wipe with a soft cloth or sponge using lukewarm water and mild soap.

Rinse thoroughly and allow the cover to dry fully before packing away.

Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, solvents, pressure washers, or abrasive brushes, as these may damage the fabric or protective finishes.

  • Always store the cover dry where possible.

If packed away wet, unpack and air dry at the earliest opportunity to help prevent odours, mildew, or premature wear.

  • When not in use, remove the cover from the vehicle and store it in the supplied bag.

Leaving the cover fitted for extended periods while the vehicle is stored may shorten the life of the materials due to prolonged exposure to weather and UV.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when possible.

Important Safety Notice

The screen cover must be fully removed before operating the vehicle.
